Terms of Service

Last updated 2026-10-26: name change only. Stormward was formerly RoofCRM, and these terms carry over unchanged otherwise.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern use of Stormward (formerly RoofCRM; the app runs at roofcrm.ecbtx.com and this website at getstormward.com), a product of ECB TX LLC, a Texas limited liability company ("ECB TX", "we", "us"). By creating an account or otherwise using Stormward, you ("Customer", "you") agree to these Terms.

Account responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account, including actions taken by users your company adds. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

Acceptable use

Stormward includes calling and SMS features for contacting leads and customers. You agree not to use those features in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), federal or state Do-Not-Call rules, or any other applicable telemarketing or messaging law. You are solely responsible for having a lawful basis to contact each number you message or call through Stormward.

You are the sender of record for every text message and email you send through Stormward: recipients, consent, opt-outs, and legal compliance for that outreach are your responsibility, not ours. Stormward enforces Do-Not-Call suppression and opt-out handling at the data layer, but that does not relieve you of your own legal obligations as the sender.

You also agree not to use Stormward to store or transmit unlawful content, attempt to breach or disrupt the service, or access another company's data without authorization.

Data ownership

You own the data you and your users enter into Stormward: company records, customer and lead information, photos, estimates, invoices, and anything else you create in your account. We process it only to provide the service to you, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Uptime

During the pilot phase, Stormward is provided on a best-effort basis with no uptime service level agreement (SLA). We work to keep the service available and will communicate significant planned or unplanned downtime when we can, but we do not guarantee a specific uptime percentage during this phase.

Fees

Fees, if any, are as agreed in writing between you and ECB TX (for example, in an order form, email agreement, or in-app plan selection). No fee is owed beyond what has been separately agreed in writing.

Termination and data export

You may stop using Stormward and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account for violation of these Terms, including the acceptable-use provisions above. On request, we will make your account data available for export before or upon termination, and will delete it per the retention terms in our Privacy Policy.

Limitation of liability

Stormward is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, ECB TX LLC disclaims all warranties, express or implied, and will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunity, arising from your use of Stormward, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of Stormward will not exceed the fees you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or Stormward will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Brazos County, Texas, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date on this page. Continued use of Stormward after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
